Betty Allard is an amazing woman. She is down to earth. No matter the magnitude of your day, she will do everything she can to make you feel GREAT on your special day. She really did make my wife and I feel important, and valued. Her husband Paul even took pictures for us, a LOT of pictures!My wife and I really had nothing planned, we had no idea what it would be like, but Betty had a plan, she knew we were on a budget, and she still made every effort to make us feel special! You'd be a fool to go with anyone else! Thank you Betty!

Betty and her husband, Paul, were wonderful. We met them at their home and immediately felt like old friends. Betty laughed and joked with my husband before the ceremony and helped reduce he nerves. Paul helped coordinate the wedding party for the ceremony. The ceremony was perfect, everything we could have hoped for and more. Paul took great pictures on my camera, which made me glad I didn't waste my money on a photographer. Overall we couldn't have been happier.

Betty is simply the best at what she does! She is organized, knowledgeable, warm, and friendly. From the moment you meet her, you feel as if you have known her forever. My husband and I are thrilled with the service that Betty officiated at our wedding and we have received so many compliments from our guests on what a special ceremony it was. We highly reccommend Betty and are forever grateful to her for such a memorable ceremony!

We had a very small, casual wedding at our home and Betty and Paul fit right in with our guests. Betty was so wonderful to work with! She met with us in person, tailored our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted, and was very reasonably priced. We did the sand ceremony as well and we got many compliments on it! We have a memento of Betty and we were more than satisfied with her. We hit it off right away with Betty at our initial meeting and knew that she was the right JP for us. Betty was our JP for our wedding, hired less than a week before the wedding (because our previous JP backed out), and it was the best decision we could have made. She was absolutlely wonderful. Betty helped my husband and I have the wedding we wanted-quiet and simple. She and her husband, Paul, were so welcoming and friendly, I felt like I'd known them for years! (My husband has but that's another story!!) The ceremony itself was beautiful. Betty delivered her words so warmly and they touched us both. Aloha! Betty was perfect for us! My girlfriend Jenn and I got married in September of 2010 at Paul and Betty's. The backyard garden at there home was breathtakingly beautiful. Betty performed our ceremony from memory with out skipping a beat. Jenn and I were able to be in each others eyes and say everything we wanted to say with complete comfort.Betty's husband Paul took over 100 photo's for us. I live in PA and was getting married in CT. To find an officiant or any other vendor for that fact; was a task and a half. I relied on the internet to interview and select the vendors that I would use for my wedding. I spoke with several JP's before I found Betty.When I talked to her on the phone; I knew after about 10 minutes; she was the one that would officiate. I felt very comfortable with her and the next challenge would be if my future wife would approve of her. Several months later when we went to CT to meet the vendors; going to meet Betty was like visiting an old friend you haven't seen in years! She made us feel very comfortable (I was already) and my wife to be was comfortable as well.Two months before the wedding; we made a trip to CT to finalize arrangements. At that time, we gave her some vows that we wished for her to recite during our ceremony in addition to the script she was going to do.To my surprise; she had everything memorized and did not miss a beat when reciting the ceremony. She was absolutely awesome!!!! The sand ceremony was beautiful and her husband took wonderful pictures with my camera!!! She also was punctual...(I had heard some awful stories of JP's who came late or didn't even show up!!!) I would highly recommend Betty Allard for officiating your wedding ceremony...gay or straight... She really loves her job and it shows!!!!

I can't say enough about this remarkable woman, She wed myself and now husabnd on September 14th. She eased any last bits of nerves before performing the ceremony with her soothing voice and upbeat and caring banter. She lent a wonderful scenic treat of a backyard for the ceremony. She was effortlessly eloquent when she added unique flourishes to otherwise common vows. Her sand ceremony was inspired and thoughtful. Overall all I can say is THANK YOU! You truly helped make this the kind of day that I as a bride always hope to have for my wedding day.

Betty and her husband Paul were exceptional!!!! My husband and I got married on September 12, 2010 and from the very beginning of our wedding planning, over a year ago, Betty was there through every step of the way. I felt completely comfortable with her from the second we met. She is very easy to talk to and more than helpful when it comes to offering suggestions on making your wedding PERFECT. I kept in close contact with her via email. She was always prompt on returning my emails and phonecalls and I never waited more than a day for a response. This was extremely comforting knowing that as a nervous bride I would never have to wait for a response. An added bonus was that her husband was there the whole time taking pictures with my camera to capture those moments when your bridal party couldn't. Obviously because they were in the wedding. I would reccommend her to anyone who is looking for a fantastic officient to perform the ceremony at their wedding. We chose to get married and have the reception at a country club in Rhode Island, but for anyone who is wanting a small, intimate ceremony, Betty has a beautiful picturesque landscape at her house where she has performed hundreds if not thousands of ceremonies. We highly recommend Betty. She was wonderful. She did such a great job performing our ceremony. We got so many compliments from family and friends about how beautiful it was. We loved the sand ceremony too. We put the bottle in our living room and it's something we'll look at and treasure for years to come. Betty and her husband Paul are very friendly and warm.
