Betty married my partner (two women) and I this past weekend in her huge backyard. We eloped and did not have family or friends with us, but she was warm and friendly and helped us feel welcome, and relaxed. Betty recited vows that she wrote, which she remembered by heart and did *not* read from a book. Her husband took lots of photos with our camera (and was a good photographer too!). The yard and pond were even better than I imagined. We love her, our ceremony was absolutely perfect and we recommend her without reservation. We could not have asked for a better wedding!!

Betty rocked as our JOP!! She was so comfortable to be around and so professional. It was like we knew her our whole lives. Her ceremony was unique and her husband was true helper too!

My partner and I were married on July 14, 2010 by Betty Allard.Betty performs many of her wedding ceremonies in her beautiful backyard but it was a rainy day. Nevertheless, Betty and her husband brightened the day up significantly for both of us with the spectacular ceremony she performed on her back porch. We exchanged rings while Betty performed a moving and wonderful wedding ceremony. She included a special part of the ceremony that represented bringing our two lives together as one, that also provided us with a beautiful keepsake. Although no family was present because both of us were from out of state, Betty and her husband made us feel like we were part of their family.The wedding service Betty performed for us will provide lasting memories for a lifetime and we heartily recommend her for your special day, too.

IF there were more than five stars she would get them all! She was an amazing grace that my family and I were blessed with! We were able to book her last minute because our JP backed out last minute for a lame excuse.....so we called her 4 days before our wedding and she not only agreed without hesitation she allowed us to use her property for our site at no extra cost! (of course we gave her lil extra anyway!) Her ceremonial words were above and beyond what most other JP's will do! The sand ceremony was amazing and the certificates she gives you as memoirs....beautiful! I can not say enough positive things about her and her husband! They both took time off of their Father's Day morning for my family!!!!!!! I could never thank her enough!

5 stars are not enough to describe what a wonderful experience I had in having Betty join our lives and family at our wedding. I give Betty a Universe full of stars. Betty has a true talent in helping the couple to find the right combination of words that will create a magical memory for all that witness the event. When she says she loves her job she means it from the bottom of her heart. Betty and her husband opened their home to us so that we could start our lives together in a beautiful setting (her gardens), with our family in attendance and with findness that I will never forget. Her husband took photos for us and assisted in every way possible to make the day go smoothly. I highly recommend Betty for anyone that wants their special day to be beyond their dreams. Well what can I say about Betty there no words to describe realness and two genuine people who complement each other. which she made this day a remember-able one.The pictures of the Garden is a under statement which brings warmth to your eyes and embraces you. Thank You for welcoming me into your home and Blessing us with your presences even to join us together, and how this day came about is God sent. standing by the water then the finishing touch. Sand in the bottle to bring forth true love within a pattern,oh what a delight that makes it just right. Thank you Both for our new beginning just meeting you Betty is such a True treat and a great pleasure the groom has promised a day to be short and sweet but to top it off Betty Boo is my Favorite and Betty is the one who married us isn't that something I even feel as if I found a new Friend that Loves what she does. Betty was a great JP! I had my ceremony in her backyard and wow it was beautiful! All of the black and white of our attire POPPED against the amazing greenery! Her husband even ran to the town hall before it closed so I could have my copy of the marriage certificate that same day! They took lots of photos for us and were very wonderful people. My husband and I will keep our sand bottle forever. :] Thank-you Betty!

Betty Allard is one of the best officiants we could ever find. She is very down to earth, polite and so pleasant. To be honest I would have to say she's a breath of fresh air. I remember the first time speaking with her, we seem to hit it off right from the beginning and everytime I called she always remember who I was. When Jim and I met with her at her home, we felt like we were right at home. She is so welcoming and is there to please you no matter how you would like to do your ceremony to be done. She could either do religious ceremonies or non religious ceremony which is the way we went. But overall very professional and a pleasure to work with. My whole entire family loved her as well as all my guest. One couple is even thinking of using her if they decide to get married. I assure you if you hire her to do your wedding you will be completely 100% satisfied. Love you Betty

Mrs. Allard was wonderful she did such a beautiful job for my husband donnie and myself on our wedding day I really recommend her! she'll meet with you before your wedding and go over EVERYTHING! she's very flexible and affordable. I recommend her sand cermoney, it's so beautiful, My husband and I had our wedding at mcCooks point in niantic bettey came out and did a wonderful job, everyone had a great time, her husband even takes pictures of your wedding with your camera and does a wonderful job! our wedding went so beautifully and smoothly I still can't thank Betty enough!

She did a great job performing our Ceremony, We were very satisfied. She was very caring. Our friends and family loved our wedding and she made it perfect.

We cannot speak highly enough of Betty. During our initial conversation it didn't feel as if we were simply "hiring" someone; instead, it felt more as if we had just made a new friend.She was completely professional as she took the time to speak with us to help craft the perfect ceremony for our wedding. Betty combined our request for a simple ceremony with wonderfully personal and touching words that created a moment for us that we will never forget.The ceremony was made complete by the generosity of Betty's husband Paul in offering to take photos of the ceremony for us. The photos were fantastic -- Paul has a great eye for taking pictures, and it was a wonderful bonus for us.All in all, we could not have been more pleased. We made the right choice when we asked Betty to officiate at our wedding!

The first phone conversation with Betty and my choice was made. She was professional, pleasant, re-assuring and an all around sweetheart. After giving her a time/date only one week beforehand, she ended all my worries of not finding someone in time who could travel to our location. Betty was very accomidating to our schedule and even offered up her husbands services to be our photographer as well. (Thanks Paul, Great job! )We wanted our ceremony outdoors, even though it was about 40 degrees that afternoon, and she had no reservations about being cold ..She led the way outside.Betty recited her ceremony from her heart and not from a book. It was touching and very well delivered.We wanted a small, perfect, private wedding and thats exactly what we got. Betty and Paul played a big part in making our day so special. You cant go wrong with Betty involved in your Special day !!

My husband and I always knew that we wanted a quiet ceremony in our home.I called Betty and knew from the moment I spoke with her that everything would be perfect. Betty and her husband were so awesome! It was like we had known them for years.The ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Better than I could ever imagine. She really made everything so special from start to finish and the sand ceremony was the icing on the cake.Her husband took all of our photos during and after the ceremony and did such a beautiful job. We really wanted to have our dogs there with us and she was fine with it which was very important to us.I would highly recommend Betty!!!I am already looking forward to renewing our vows with her:)

We knew from the minute we arrived at Betty's home for our initial meeting that she was the perfect officiant for us! Betty is pleasant, accomodating, fun, professional, well versed in the wedding industry, and just an all around wonderful person. Betty had great tips and ideas for vendors, ins and outs of getting what you need at a great price, the marriage license process, and ideas for the ceremony itself. We had full confidence in Betty from the moment we met. She allowed us to tweak the ceremony to fit our ideas and needs. The day of our wedding Betty arrived early, beautifully and tastefully dressed with her awesome husband Paul ready for the day! The ceremony was flawless and I felt so comfortable with Betty leading us through our vows. I know without a doubt that she was the best JP we could have ever asked for! Her price was very reasonable especially for the amount of effort and help she was willing to give us. If we were to do it all again Betty would be the first person I call! She may have been the most stress free part of the wedding! Thank you Betty so much for officiating our wedding! And to her husband Paul, thank you for taking photos of the ceremony! They came out great! Book Betty for your JP, she is an all around geniune, kind hearted, and lovely person. The wedding industry can be scary with so many questions...are you getting a fair price, will they come through with the service they promise, will everything go smoothly...Betty is a shinning light in this wedding industry. Betty will not only do what she promsies, she will go above and beyond with a smile and a twinkle in her eye!

We just recently were married on Christmas Eve and we had Betty Allard preform the ceremony she was the best. The ceremony was so personalized and she gave you that warm loving feeling that should be in your wedding Thank you so much Betty and we will be calling on you to renew our vows in the years to come

My partner and I decided to get married after being together for nearly 7 years. We expected to get a paper ceremony at the Town Clerk's office just to make things official, but Betty persuaded us to have a ceremony at her home. She was so right! The ceremony was beautiful and memorable. We performed the ceremony indoors since it was freezing outside, and everything was perfect! Her words were spot-on and we felt completely comfortable and loved there. Thanks again, Betty!

Seriously i highly recommend Betty Allard. If my husband and I could give her 100 stars, we would. It was last minute and i had to find someone to marry us and i found her. The first time i talked to her, she sounded like an amazing person and she was very happy to hep. she told me to get married at her backyard. During my wedding it started raining and luckily it stopped. She's such an amazing person and her husband is so funny. They made sure my day was perfect and special,she even took pictures of me and my bridesmaid. The sand ceremony was so much fun, minus the fact that i didn't listen well and poured too much sand lol. my guest said she did an excelled job. all my guest was at her house for an hour, we really didnt want to leave lol. I would highly reccomend Betty. She and her husband (who took the pictures) were so nice and made our day very, very special. We didn't know anyone or where to go to get our license. Betty helped us so much!!! We got married in her backyard and it was BEAUTIFUL!!! The Sand ceremony was incredible as was Betty's attention to every detail. We didn't have any vows or anything prepared and Betty made our ceremony Magickal! I could not have done better if I had written the vows myself. It was like she had known us for years. Betty was AMAZING! She was very responsive and flexible. She had never actually met us before our wedding, but it seemed like she had known us for a long time and knew exactly what we wanted. We would definitely recommend her for any type of ceremony. She will really make your day special. We couldn't have asked for anyone better!
