We rented EVERYTHING from Bremar for our wedding at the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington, CT- from the brand new peaked tent, to the tables and chairs, to the parkay dance floor, beautiful bone white china, hammered flatware, etc. Amy is a true pleasure to work with- so attentive, responsive and goes the extra mile (or two or three!) for you. It was so nice to work with a smaller company because of the personal attention, value and flexibility. Would definitely recommend to any bride to be!

I had a rental reservation for a bounce house for this past weekend for my daughters 5th birthday. I called to make the reservation weeks ago. I called that morning to verify the total as my husband was picking it up on the way home from work at Bradley. Never in either conversation was I informed that there was a deposit, let alone that it would be an additional $300 on top of the $200 for the rental. The office manager was extremely rude to my husband and acted as though we should have known this. In the 2 conversations I had with the office manager she was argumentative and hostile. During our first conversation I wasn't getting anywhere, she was rude and during a long pause I hung up. After a little bit I called back and she flat out hung up on me mid-sentence. Luckily, Chattfields Taylor Rental had a larger bounce house for the same price with no additional deposit and only a $17 insurance premium. The total was the total and I was told in advance. My husband and I have rented from Taylor and R&S in Torrington several times, I plan to give them my business in the future and I have already informed several parents about the very poor customer service and deceiving rental policies of this company and I plan to tell many more. A deposit is fine, I should have been told in advance, certainly I would have taken my business elsewhere if I had know the deposit would be more than the actual rental. In this economy, customer service should be the number one priority, not ruining a 5 year olds birthday. I had not rented from this company before and there was absolutely no justification for the additional deposit.
