Ernest Adams, Justice of the Peace

Ernest was a great officient. He answered all of our questions, provided direction when asked and was more than willing to follow directions if it was asked of him. His website is really informative and truthfully, its what made us contact him to begin with. Its chock full of helpful information for before, during and after your wedding. Ernest was great at rehearsal, bringing the focus of our bridal party's attention away from socializing and back to practicing our wedding. I was the type of bride who preferred to ask questions regarding how things could be done, and while Ernest believes that everything should be done the way the couple of the hour want, he was still willing to make suggestions where needed. His modest fee is truly a great value! Our guests thought the ceremony he provided was wonderful. We had a renaissance wedding and Ernest provided some Renaissance background for things like the ring ceremony and hand fasting. He went so far as to use old english during the ceremony to make it fit even more with the theme. Thanks again Ernest! Lori & Steven - Connecticut

The quality of the ceremony was very good. It was helpful that we had a rehearsal a few days before the wedding. Ernest's responsiveness is good if contacting via phone. Sometimes there were a few emails that got lost in the shuffle. I would not recommend if you plan on having small children participate in the ceremony. At the rehearsal he quickly tried to establish command of the situation by trying to dismiss our wedding coordinator. His flexibility in modifying the ceremony to what we were comfortable with and the cost of achieving that was pretty spot on.

I would highly recommend Ernest for future brides and grooms we were very happy with his services and he was able to officiate from a list of wedding destinations both popular and historical locations,also I believe he has a very good web site which helps when trying to decide on a destination,ernest gets 5 stars from my wife and I he is very personable a pleasure to have picked him for our day. I have to say that when I first met ernest, I thought that he was a bit strange. The night of the rehearsal dinner he was a bit bossy and really did not care what others suggested which kind of turned all of us off. but the night of the wedding, he did an excellent job. The ceremony was beautiful!! He likes to make sure everything goes as it should which explains his actions the night before. He takes his job very seriously and will give you the ceremony that you want. I would recommend ernest.

Ernest always answsered his phone when we called and always had an answer. When we told him about our wedding and what we wanted he emailed us information on websites and other vendors that may be helpful. He always went out of his way to help us. He knows about ceremonies and how they work. Everyone enjoyed our ceremony so much. He made it fun and different. He also took care of the rehearsal which as great so everyone knew what he expected as well as where and what they needed to do. And for what he charges, he went more then out of his way for us. :)
