Hartt School of Music Gigline

Great musicians. Very professional. We got tons of compliments about how unique and elegant it was to have the ceremony and cocktail hour with classical musicians. I wish they played some jazz though :)

Mary emailed me about 2 months before the wedding to discuss music. She was able to give me a helpful website for ceremony music ideas. She also gave us options for what we wanted the musicians to wear which was nice as well. The only request I would make is they play a little louder.

These guys did such a great job! We hired a duet--cello & violin. They are so experienced and know ceremony music well. I however, did not know the music and I let them pick out selections they thought appropriate. All I requested was that Canon D be my processional. EVERYONE was blown away at how professional and talented our musicians were. They knew what they were doing!!Bonnie, who is the coordinator at the gigline, was so helpful at setting things up and explaining everything. I would hire them again in a second!!! I highly recommend them---the prices just cannot be beat either!Outstanding value for their service. True professionals but you will not be charged ridiculous amounts of money like those private individuals.

We couldn't be happier with the violinist that we found through the gigline. She was talented, professional, and a pleasure. Their rates are great!

Quality of musicians was excellent - these students can definitely play - but communicating with Gigline and the musicians themselves was next to impossible. (We did not hear from our musicians until 6 days before the wedding.) We asked for a violinist and a cellist, but received two violinists instead. After numerous emails and phone calls, they still played the wrong music during our ceremony. The show went on and our wedding was still beautiful, but in hindsight we would have gone with someone else.

It took A LOT of prodding to get the Gigline contacts to actually connect me with a musician. However, the musician they set us up with was extremely responsive and accomodating. Also a good value.

Very professional and did a fantastic job. Also much more reasonably priced than all alternatives I found and the quality was better as well!
