If you want to look and feel drop-dead gorgeous on your wedding day, don't hesitate to work with Larissa and her team. Larissa and her associate applied airbrush makeup and false eyelashes to myself, 4 of my bridesmaids, and my mother for my wedding. Every single one of us felt like supermodels while still feeling and looking like ourselves! Larissa is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. She's also one of the most talented, professional makeup artists I've had the pleasure to work with--I never had problems reaching her, either by email or phone, and she knows her craft, inside and out. For my trial, I brought a few magazine cutouts of what I wanted to look like on my big day as well as a picture of my dresses and she translated this into a style that was perfect for me and what I was looking for!Perhaps my favorite part of the whole trial and bridal experience was the false eyelashes. Larissa creates custom lashes for her brides that look so natural but really make your eyes stand out and look beautiful. I found that the lashes were so well-applied that by washing my face gently, they were able to stay on several days into my honeymoon.I strongly recommend Larissa and hope to book her services again!

Larissa Lake and her team do a phenomenal job on bridal hair and makeup. I also worked with them for my engagement pictures and once I saw their work I could not wait to do it all over again for my wedding day! Larissa is a professional and has a great personality. She really strives for perfection when doing hair and makeup. I could not have been happier with my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Larissa and her team are amazing! Her airbrush makeup application is flawless and lasted all night! She is professional yet so much fun to get ready with, she's really just one of the girls! She does the most glamorous eye makeup and lashes I have ever seen! I am so glad I had Larissa and her team travel to NYC for my wedding, it was so worth it, everyone's makeup is impeccable in all the photos even after dancing all night long! I would reccommend her to anyone, she's amazing!

Larissa and her team does a great job. They did a trial for me with hair and make up and were flexible enough to have it coincide with my engagement pictures. On the day of my wedding, she did my hair and makeup, hair for four bridesmaids and a mother, and make up for four bridesmaids and a mother. I would definitley use her again.

Larissa Lake is a fabulous hair and makeup artist. She is so friendly, patient, and kind. Her and her team came to my mother's house to do hair and makeup for myself, bridesmaids, and flower girls. We all had such a great time, it was the perfect way to spend the morning of my wedding day. The girls were very pleased with the work Larissa did, which is quite a feat to please a large group of bridesmaids. Many of the girls even wanted to add getting makeup done at the last minute because they were so impressed. I received numerous compliments the night of the wedding. My hair and makeup lasted the whole night, including 5 hours of dancing. Larissa Lake is a very gifted artist and a sweetheart, she is just what you are looking for. I would recommend her over and over to anyone.

Larissa is a wonderful person. She and her assistant Stephanie came to my hotel room and did my hair as well as all of the bridal party, and my makeup. I also did a hair trial, and Larissa got what I wanted right away. She knew what would work with my hair, and gave great advice. I wish she could do my hair every day. Seriously. She gave a very accurate estimate on how long everything would take, and was super patient with one of the girls who didn't like how her hair looked the first time through. Everyone looked amazingly beautiful. I was also super happy with how my makeup came out. I don't normally wear anything except mascara, and even though I had a lot more on than I was used to, I still felt like myself - just a more beautiful version! I would use her again in a heartbeat.

A lot of girls rave about Larissa and I am just adding to the list. Not only does she make you look absolutely gorgeous, she is calming and fun to be around while getting ready! Stephanie and Larissa were so much fun to work with. They both made me, my MOH and MOB look amazing. I had the opportunity to work with Larissa for my boudoir shoot as well and cannot say enough good things about both that shoot and my wedding. I am also having her do my hair and makeup for my post-wedding fashion shoot. I cannot get enough of her work!! Thanks Larissa and Stephanie for making me feel beautiful!!

What can I say? Larissa and her girls made everyone look so beautiful that those who weren't originally getting their make up done, changed their minds to get glammed up. I look at pictures and I can't believe how great of a job they did. By the end of the afternoon I wanted to invite all of them to the wedding. We had so much fun!

I had no intentions to have hair and make up done for my wedding but so glad I did. Larissa and her team were the highlight of my wedding day. They made me not only look beautiful (as every bride should) but the time spent prior to the wedding was so relaxing and a great way to prepare for the big party. Larissa is amazing! I came to NYC from Canada and wasn't able to meet with Larissa for a trial so she consulted with me via email and came up with some great ideas. For my wedding, she travelled from CT to NYC and did my hair and makeup in my hotel room. She did a fantastic job and made me look gorgeous. I am more than happy to write a review of LLMA. As Lariss knows I was a bride who had searched and searched for someone to do my make-up and hair. Months before I had a trial for both done at another well known salon in the Hartford area and I can't tell you how horrible it was. Then...I met with Larissa. The quality of work was like night and day. Larissa has such an amazing personality and made me feel so beautiful and special through this experience. The day of my wedding I felt like the most beautiful woman ever. My hair and make-up were done to perfection and from the moment I was ready right through to the end of the night...I looked simply perfect. I have and will recommend LLMA to everyone I know. Truly I can't say enough wonderful things about Larissa and her team!

Stephanie did a WONDERFUL job on my makeup for my wedding. She also did the makeup for my mother and a bridesmaid. We all looked the best we have ever looked! Larissa and her girls did an AMAZING job on me, my bridesmaids, flower girl, and mom! They were prompt, friendly, and did a fabulous job on our hair and makeup. Larissa was very easy to book and I was able to schedule a trial easily as well, which was great. Our wedding guests kept saying how glamorous we all looked. I cannot recommend Larissa highly enough - she is amazing!!!

Larissa hands down worked the hardest on my wedding day. Her sister Shantelle and her friend Danielle (I think) were at my house at 5:45 in the morning to have my seven bridesmaids and myself ready by noon. They not only had us ready to go but were able to handle a few add-on lashes at the last minute. The trial with me allowed me to try out two hair styles and also showed me how my makeup would look. Larissa even did a trial on my "groomswoman". Even my husband loved everything about her! Also have her make you a hairpiece. She will take the design on your dress as well as your theme for you wedding and design something beautiful! Use this hair and make-up artist. Not only will you love her work, you will love her personality!
