We chose the cannoli cake for our September wedding and it was great! Excellent value.

Excellent job in makig the cake I wanted

Luigi's was ok, they worked directly with my venue and the cake was included in our package, the owner we met with when designing the cake was super nice, however I had requested buttercream and told him I was not a fan of whipped cream frosting, he asked if we'd be open to their "special buttercream" which was lighter and fluffier. We agreed but at the wedding it tasted pretty much exactly like which cream frosting. Also my mother and aunt told me that our cake was very dry, in all the excitement of the day I only had 1 bite but I do have to say I agree. So bottom line is the cake was pretty but didn't stand up in the taste dept.

The cake tasting was so yummy! I wish we could do that each weekend! We described what tastes we liked and he brought out cakes to meet our taste buds! We had our 1 yearold with us who also enjoyed the cakes and the baker was quite patient with us. The cost was so affordable and he allowed us to make payments to make the cost even better. He made us a Marble cake that people are still dreaming about! They delivered the cake to the hall and when we got to the hall it was so perfect! If you want a yummy affordable no stress about the cake go to Luigis and worry about other things!

So good! We had more than enough cake and it was delicious! Yellow cake with cannoli cream filling MMMMMM! The cake looked like it was covered in fondant, but was actually done in a buttercream so as not to taint the flavor of the cannoli cream. It was so beautiful!

The cake taste great, but it wasn't the flavor i wanted i asked for pina colada and i got pineapple,the flowers where put wrong also, but the cake ones again taste great.

they did a great job on our cake it was beautiful. i fell in love with the rum cake on the spot, and it was delicious on our wedding day as well. they did an outstanding job on the detail i wanted on the cake, it was picture perfect.

Our wedding cake was not only beautiful bit it was one of the best red velvets I have had. The baker met with us personally. Took into consideration all our requests and drew up a beautiful cake and then delivered. I was very happy with there services and pastries.

The cake looked perfect and tasted wonderful. The cake was part of my package at Anthony's ocean view so it came included in the price.

What a nice place to go and do cake tasting. We got married last year in 2009. We went for the cake tasting and we loved their strawberry/banana cake. The place is really old and we thought we would get the quality of the cake instead of the whole package you'd expect from an expensive bakery. Then the wedding day came and it turned out to be a such a huge disappointment. The owner was the one who delivered the cake. He took the maid of honor's bouquet that we had left at the banquet facility and he used that to decorate the cake. Who in the right mind would do that. That was one thing we didn't want to let us bother. But that was not the end of it. When the cake was served we were shocked on how little filling there was. There was a 4-5 inches of yellow cake and about 1/4 inch of filling. Huge disappointment! When we tried the cake that they gave us to take home and try initially it was completely different from what we got at the wedding. Be careful on ordering there. It will be a huge disappointment. We got brainwashed when we went to the bakery and bought the "Mama's Sauce" they sell at $10 (if i remember correctly). Be careful I think they have turned that bakery into a factory and you will not get what they promise you.

Ou wedding cake was delicious-Italian Rum Cake, YUM YUM! The only problem that I had with them was that I had a picture of exactly what I wanted and they didnt really want to work with me. They have cake shapes that they will use and that is it. The generic looking cake is worth it for the taste though

My cake was delicious and beautiful. It was included in the package, but I requested cannoli filling which is an upcharge, but nothing major at all.

Luigi's at first glance appears to be very Italian and not so chic. After drawing up the design we wanted (not so Italian!) and then seeing it on our wedding day; it came out beautifully!

Our wedding cake was included in our wedding package with Woodwinds. Luigi's was the baker contracted by Woodwinds. We decided to use them to bake our wedding cake for convenience. We had our meeting 6 months before the wedding. The woman who met with us helped us design our cake and helped us pick the flavors. Unfortunately, you do NOT get to taste the flavor combinations before you decide but it worked out okay for us anyways. They even matched the colors on the cake to the color of the bridesmaid dresses (it was a difficult color to match). The cake was absolutely delicious and beautiful!

Our reception package at Tashua Knolls came with a cake from Luigi's (we did pay just $200 because we wanted a red velvet cake, which was not on the list of cake flavors that came with the package). We met with Antoinette at Luigis and she helped us create our cake - they were able to make a red velvet cake for us even though they don't usually make them. I showed Antoinette a picture of the cake I wanted and she was able to make it. There was one catch - I had to supply the ribbon and flowers for the cake (I didn't mind). The overall product was beautiful and delicious four-tier red velvet and vanilla cream cake! They are all business at Luigi's - so don't expect a tasting or requesting jewels on your cake.

We liked them so much that we use them for all our cake orders since. They are great with presentation, taste, and customer service!

We went to the bakery and tasted the icings and told them what kind of cake we wanted and how many people. It was very easy and fast. The cake was beautiful and delicious. I highly reccommend this bakery... they do amazing work! Their pasterys are also the best. I am not positive of the cost since it was included in my package at Anthony's Ocean View.

Ok, I am 99% thrilled with this bakery. The bottom line is that the cake was awesome, delicious and very fresh. Delivered on time and exactly as I ordered. The ONLY down-side is that the woman who took my order, the wife of the owner, was not the most friendly or helpful person to deal with. So I suggest that you make and appointment to meet with the owner himself. He's awesome, and you'll even get a cup of espresso when you visit if you meet with him! I should also point out, that we didn't taste the cake when we ordered it, but I called and spoke to the owner a week after ordering it, and he said come in on Tuesday and I'll make you a sample. He made me an entire 2 layer cake and gave it to me for free. Like I said, ask for the owner himself!!
