If you are looking for posed, traditional photos... look for a different photographer. Marissa is extremely talented and artistic. She has a fabulous knack for catching the moment. Each one of her photos tells a story. Marissa and her husband and partner T.J. are also very laid back and a lot of fun. They are discreet and you don't even realize they are taking shots.... but when you get the photos... they are simply amazing! I would recommend Marissa to anyone who asks!!! Marisa and her husband TJ were amazing at our wedding this past weekend at Harkness Park. They were attentive,personable, and extremely friendly. Every time I turned around I saw either Marisa or TJ getting every precious moment from our special day. So many guests and family members commented on how awesome she was. And we had "sneak peek" of our photos the next morning! Love love love Sassy Mouth and would recommend her to anyone looking for amazing photographs at an affordable price.

We have nothing but compliments on how great our photographer was!! Not only were her pictures beautiful and raved about - but she was very professional - she was quick, got everyone smiling and laughing and loved how she had the ideas of what she wanted to do for pictures right away so we didn't have to sit there and think about it! She was a great price -and she did a photo booth for us which was SUCH a big hit!!! Everyone loved it!! Also loved how we got to see a big chunk of our pic's on her blog a week or two after wedding!!

We didn't have a hard time deciding to hire Marissa as our photographer. Her reviews were amazing and we loved the product she was selling; It was imperative to us that we hired a photographer that gave us all our photos, full digital versions, shortly after the event.Marissa didn't disappoint. We have around 1800 pictures of our big day and the pictures are AMAZING. Not only that but working with Marissa and her husband was so comfortable and fun. Because we are from Nebraska the first time we met her was on our wedding day. This wasn't a problem one bit. From the moment Marissa arrived she fit in perfectly with my girls. It was so comfortable and wasn't at all like a stranger was in the room taking pictures of us.We didn't want a traditional photographer who had us posing all the time, we wanted something more informal, comfortable, and candid. Marissa delivered. All our pictures are perfect and we couldn't be happier. Hire Sassy Mouth to do your wedding. When the day is over an all the other vendors are gone you have to have pictures to remember even the moments that you missed because Marissa inserted herself into every moment.

Marisa exceeded my expectations from the beginning. She was very responsive and explained everything to me up front. On the day of she seemed just as enthusiastic about photographing my wedding as I was to get married! During the wedding, All of the photos came out amazing and I was able to see previews on her blog within two days. We received the CD's of our pictures in a few short weeks. This is very fast considering I have heard it takes brides months to even see one picture from their photographers. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Marisa is WONDERFUL. We knew within five minutes of meeting her that we would hire her for our Sept 19, 2010 wedding. She's so sweet, spunky, and I can tell she has a passion for what she does. I could never apply the motto, “You get what you pay for” to Sassymouth Photography. Just as her website says fabulous and affordable, it is just that. I booked Sassymouth photography for my August 2010 wedding and am happy I did so. Marissa is very creative, dedicated and pays close attention to detail. Any question or concern I had she answered quickly and honestly. During the wedding you couldn’t even tell she was there…yet the photos captured every little detail. I had some ideas I wanted to incorporate (i.e. a thank you sign for a photo) and Marissa enthusiastically created a beautiful sign for my husband and I to hold. We were able to view our photographs on her website about a week and a half after the wedding and received the disc with my photos about a month after the wedding date. I cannot speak on the photobook as I have procrastinated in picking out the pictures I want included. Marissa is excelling in her business of photography and she deserves it; she is great and I give her 5 stars!
