When we started the wedding planning process, I thought we'd buy our flowers from a grocery store, because professional florists would be too expensive. Then, I found Stylish Blooms. I got an estimate, which was much less than I expected. We worked together to create exactly what I was looking for in my wedding flowers.

My flowers were exactly everything i wanted, so beautiful and fresh! Melissa was extremely professional but definitely personable, she contacted me right away with every question i had, it was such a pleasure working with her to create my dream bouquet!

Melissa is the best! Our situation was unique in that the bride and groom live in Kentucky and this was a 2nd reception for them. Being the mother of the groom I told Melissa exactly what my future in law liked and without a doubt she came through with flying colors. I couldn't have asked for more beautiful flowers. Stylish Blooms was the easiest and best decision i made. Melissa of Stylish Blooms was a word-of-mouth referral from another bride who swore to me she was skilled, reasonably priced, and literally the ONLY person you want in Connecticut for wedding flowers. My referral was absolutely right. Melissa has a degree in horticulture, and a gifted talent for arrangements. Despite her popularity (and how quickly she books up!) she treats every bride like a sister and makes sure every bride feels good about the process. LOVE LOVE LOVE Stylish Blooms. Melissa is amazing! Our first meeting was at a local starbucks and she brought ribbons in my colors as well as many different pictures. She is full of ideas and can give you many examples of different styles to try. She is extremely good about responding back. I always received a response to my email within a couple of hours (sometimes just minutes!) Her prices are extremely reasonable and she was very tuned into what we wanted. She is an organized and knowledgeable florist who will make your wedding day flowers spectacular!

I don’t exactly know how to start this review, with all the happiness and ease I have had with working with Melissa on designing my wedding flowers. Melissa is not only an amazing florist she is also an amazing person with a kind heart, a visionary with use of colors and textures and genuine spirit for brides, and their visions. Melissa designed my wedding reception flowers with my love of bright colors and the outcome was perfect, it match my laid back theme perfectly. She also designed my cascade bouquet to meet my needs with being light in weight and easy to hold. She did this by adding a ribbon in the back so if my hands tired, I could just let the bouquet rest on my wrist and no one would see the ribbon or notice the difference, it worked like a charm. Melissa is also very flexible and quick with design modification to suit everyone’s need, she is a flower magician. The quality of flowers Melissa used to create my wedding flowers have been complimented from the moments people saw them and even others in the profession have asked about her work because they have never seen such quality of work with flowers. I will continue to use Stylish Blooms for all my floral needs, and also to support an amazing woman such as Melissa who truly has a passion and excitement for what she does, and everyone can feel her energy by just looking and experiencing her work.

Melissa is awesome! Words can not express how happy I was with her and the service that she provides. I got married when Irene wanted to sweep Western Mass off the face of the earth =) and I was so worried about vendors cancelling. Not Melissa she was great! She worked with me on everything! I went to numerous florist and i thought having flowers was never going to happen. But Melissa made it happen in my budget. She worked hard to get me what i wanted. She made 3 different mock ups for centerpieces for me and i loved what i ended with on the final day. My girls bouquets lasted for two weeks after even with the horrible weather that we had the day of the wedding. The person who even delivered the bouquets took her shoes off! haha might seem small but in an Italian household it's a big thing. Love everything about my flowers and the professionalism

I don't think I could say enough positive things about Stylish Blooms. I went with Melissa based upon her amazing reviews from past brides. I knew that she had to be good, but I didn't fully understand it until my wedding day. I was absolutely blown away by her work. My groom was able to get a sneak peek of our wedding reception area and he was brought to tears by how beautiful everything was. Melissa was wonderful to work with. We met at a convenient location. I told Melissa my vision of flowers as well as my budget and she worked with me. About three months before my wedding we changed our ceremony from an on-site location to a church and Melissa was very understanding of the changes that needed to be made. Throughout my wedding planning Melissa was very responsive to any questions I had and any changes that needed to be made. On the day of the wedding I was AMAZED at how beautiful and bright my bouquet as well as the other bouquets looked. Our centerpieces were perfect and brightened up our reception! Thank you Melissa! Melissa was amazing from the start of the flower planning through delivery of the flowers. Throughout the reception our guests mentioned the uniqueness and beauty of the center pieces. Melissa was very flexible in making last minute changes to accommodate an addition bouquet and additional flower petals. I would definitely use Stylish Blooms for future events.

Melissa was amazing to work with! I didn't know exactly what I wanted but Melissa was able to take my thoughts and make absolutely beautiful bouquets and centerpieces. The flowers were absolutely beautiful. They were exactly what I was looking for! I was a little vague at first on what I wanted, but Melissa was able to figure it out perfectly. Even some of the bridesmaids commented that they were the best bridesmaid bouquets they ever had to carry!

Where to begin? I didn't have a clue about flowers and wasn't sure where to begin searching for a florist for my June wedding. Last year a friend recommended I reach out to Melissa. I took one look at her website photo gallery and knew I wanted to work with her BUT her calendar was booked on my wedding date. I had already sent her an email before seeing her calendar and she responded immediately (after 10pm to boot) to find out more information. After providing her more info she noted that the venue was close to her location and that she would be able to squeeze me in. I think she may have had two other weddings that day, so I was thankful.Melissa offered to come my way and meet me at a local Starbucks, which was convenient. I really didn't have a clue what flowers I wanted, I just knew that I wanted the colors to pop. She had a ton of stuff with her to show me - color swatches, electronic photos, vase samples and lots of flower books. After we talked through everything I realized that I wouldn't really know what my flowers were going to look like until the day of the wedding. Now, I'm a control nut. So, it say's a lot that I put my trust in Melissa. It is evident after one conversation, from her daily FB posts, from her photo gallery and from all the prior bride reviews that Melissa is passionate about her work and she may even be more detail oriented than I am. So, while it made me uneasy not knowing what I would get I did totally trust Melissa.I'll just quickly note that her prices are incredibly competitive and affordable. Fast forward - after several months had passed I started to think that I may need some floral arrangements for other parts of the venue (ex, fireplace mantel) that I had not thought about or considered when we first met. I reached out to Melissa to let her know that I was going to revisit the venue to figure out what I might need and that I'd be in touch. To my pleasure and surprise, Melissa offered to meet me there to help me out. And I have to point out that she did meet me there after breaking her toe (I believe) and came to the venue in an air cast AND had to be driven there because she was not able to drive. Is that dedication and great customer service or what?Then, a couple of weeks before the wedding I let Melissa know that I wanted to include a photo pendant of my grandmother on my bouquet. I was just going to send it to her, but she offered to meet me as she was delivering flowers nearby. When I met her she handed me a beautiful arrangement of flowers in all the colors we had discussed for my wedding. She commented that most brides do not get to enjoy their flowers because everyone takes them at the end of the night and she let me know that she put together the arrangement for me to enjoy before the wedding. I was totally bowled over - it was so thoughtful. And the flowers were GORGEOUS!!! The day of the wedding all of the flowers were delivered to the venue. So I actually did not get to see them until immediately prior to walking down the aisle. Words cannot describe how perfectly Melissa captured my vision. The flowers were stunning! Simply amazing. My bridal party and the venue looked beautiful. I am not one to give praise unless it is due. And in the case of Stylish Blooms it is well deserved. You cannot go wrong with Melissa. She is an honorable and dedicated small business owner. She clearly puts her heart in to each and every arrangement, bouquet, centerpiece, corsage and bouttoniere she creates. Melissa - thank you from the bottom of my heart! You really went above and beyond and helped to make my wedding day absolutely beautiful.
