A Touch of Color Make-up by Shary Scully

I would highly recommend A Touch of Color Make-up by Shary Scully. Shary is fantastic to work with and is extremely talented at what she does. Her work is amazing! Shary was very respectful of the fact that I don't usually wear alot of make-up and she was able to create a look for me that I was more than happy with. My make-up lasted the entire day (from 10am-1am) and it was awesome to not have to worry about it. She also went out of her way to help us with a last minute injury to a member of our bridal party who unfortunately received a black eye the day before the wedding. Shary covered it up beautifully, and you would never have known that there was a black eye underneath! We will always be grateful for that! Thank you!

Sharyn was great from start to finish. She covered up a huge tattoo and my makeup looked amazing. Whenever I contacted her she would get back to me within an hour or less. She is great dealing with kids. I had my two little flower girls get their makeup done as well. I would highly recommend Sharyn to anyone looking for a makeup artist.

Shary was an excellant choice for the person to do my make-up for my wedding day. When women see my pictures they always comment on my make-up. Shary was so professional and friendly. Shary was so wonderful to work with for our wedding. During my trial, she really wanted to know what I thought and was happy (even encouraging me) to make any changes or try something different.On the big day, she did a wonderful job with all of my bridesmaids and my Mom. We needed to tweak my fake eyelashes a bit and Shary insisted on staying until I was sure they were comfortable. I got so many compliments on my makeup (particularly my eyes). Shary is so pleasant to work with and I can't wait to see her again for my sister's wedding!

Shary was wonderful to work with. She did a beautiful job on my makeup (she was able to give me the exact look I wanted w/o a trial bc I live far) as well as the rest of my wedding party. She was very quick to respond when ever I sent her an email, extremely professional and an absolute pleasure to work with. Shary is absolutely THE BEST! My husband and I renewed our vows for our 35th Anniversary and she did an amazing job on all of us. There were six of us between the ages of 27 and 86 and let me tell you, we all looked smashing! Everyone at the party were commenting on how wonderful we looked, expecially my 86 year old Mom. Shary is a very pleasant, caring person and I just cannot say enough about her artistry. She really cares about what she is doing and it shows. Even when I changed the look I was going for after the first pre-trial she had me come in to do another one no problem. She listened to what I wanted and definately nailed the look for all of us! I am so glad she was part of my special day!

Shary is AMAZING! She is very talented, patient, and kind. I had such a great experience with her. For my trial, she took the time to show me different looks/colors, so I could get an exact idea of what I wanted for my wedding day. She never once rushed me, we had a great time. And, before I left my trial that day I booked her! No regrets whatsoever, she loves what she does and you can tell. She arrived the day of my wedding excited and ready to go. My bridesmaids got their makeup done as well, and they all loved it. The make up really holds up well too. The day of my trial is was high 90's and humid... and the make up held up all day AND night. And the day of my wedding, same thing- held up thru tears, cake, dancing... looking as good as it did the moment she put it on. Its a win win using Shary for your big day or anytime you need make up done. Shes such a great person, enjoyable to be around... and a killer make up artist. Doesnt get any better than Shary! Shary and Jamie were wonderful to work with in every way -- I would recommend them to any bride who is getting married in CT and/or the NY metro area to give them a call NOW and book their services! In addition to being two of the warmest and most personable professionals I have ever had the pleasure of working with (truly, these ladies are beautiful inside and out) they were AMAZING with consulting me, My Mom and my bridesmaids on what types of make up, colors, etc. would be best to highlight our favorite facial features and compliment our dresses. I was also very impressed by how accomodating Shary was in terms of being flexible with booking my make up trial (I live an hour from her stuido, so it was very much appreiated that she was willing to see me whenever I could get there... even as late as 7 PM on a weekday!) I always received quick responses to my emails, as well, which is so helpful during wedding planning (as any bride who's been there and done that will atest!)I am so happy I got to work with Shary and Jamie for my wedding day, and plan to work with them for all my special occassions in the future that call for make up with a little extra pizzazz!

Sharon made sure I looked perfect on my wedding day! She really knows what brides want and made sure I felt comfortable andhappy with the way I looked.
