Vida Doce

Although this was a magnificant cake, it was for a special birthday celebration at a restaurant and not for a wedding. However, given what this place can turn out for birthdays I can only imagine the wonder of their wedding cakes. We were in awe! The staff at the restaurant kept looking and since we had extra shared some with them......they left very happily. From delivery, accuracy of order, over the top gorgeoud appearance of the cake, taste, and great cost we could just not have asked for more. I HIGHLY recommend using these people whatever your wedding/birthday or other bakery need.

We had been to a wedding six years ago and tasted a cake Matt had made, and it was that day that I told my husband that this baker would someday make our wedding cake for us. It was the most amazing chocolate cake I had ever tasted, and I just knew then how important it was for a wedding cake to look amazing and also TASTE amazing! That was long before he opened Vida Doce...... Our wedding cake was stunning and delicious. We asked Vida Doce to make us four different flavors of sheet cakes as well, and he also provided us with 200 Portuguese pasteries for our guests. I cannot tell you how many wonderful compliments we received for the dessert table thanks to this amazing and talented pastery chef!!!! I am still speechless at how wonderful the cake was for our wedding. Absolutely to die for. It was fresh, looked wonderful and everyone raved about it. We ordered the banana cake with nutella buttercream and chocolate ganache and it was AMAZING! Thank you Vida Doce! Kara and Will Colon
