We had an amazing time from start to finish! Scott- the wedding planner for the day is amazing, and always right there when you need him...from a drink to a breath mint, to even a mirror as i was cleaning wedding cake off my face :-) Thank you Woodwinds!!!

We had a FLAWLESS Wedding day!! Thank you Scott and company for making everything perfect! It was beautifully decorated and definitely worth every penny. The prices are very reasonable for what you get. I was a bit weary about another wedding reception going on at the same time as ours, but they make it so you wouldn't even know! We had nothing but great compliments! Thank you again!

The Woodwinds is the best. Period. They are true professionals and will see to it you have your most perfect day. We originally wanted to get married under the willow tree outside, but due to weather, had to move indoors. I'm glad we did! The inside is too beautiful for words and they made the whole day perfect. They are perfectionists and flawless at what they do. The food is amazing, the ambience is modern and elegant. I couldn't have been happier with my day. Scott was awesome and the woodwinds is beautiful.

During the initial planning, Tony was wonderful, he was helpful and understanding, and also had great ideas and insight. During the week/day of panic, Scott was amazing, he even had a jacket lined with safety pins "just in case". He had every moment scheduled (in a good way) and made sure everything was done perfectly and without any crazy. Our bridal attendant was very thorough and attentive as well. There was a young person's birthday in the next room, and with the exception of two incidents, we never would have even known they were there which was amazing. The food was incredible, we have not heard one bad remark.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC VENUE ! THE FOOD, THE STAFF AND SERVICE WERE ALL GREAT. THE DAY WENT SO SMOOTHLY, I CAN'T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS VENUE. DON'T HESITATE TO HAVE YOUR WEDDING AT WOODWINDS.

Scott and everyone at Woodwinds completely exceeded my expectations for our wedding day. The service that we received was absolutely amazing! Scott anticipated our needs without us asking and was there throughout the entire day making sure everything went smoothly. Even in my dreams my wedding was not as perfect as Woodwinds made it.

There are simply no words, no sentiments to describe how thankful we are for everything that Scott did to make our day perfect. Even in my wildest dreams I never imagined everything could go so smoothly, it would have been a 3 ring circus of disaster if not for Scott! He directed us seamlessly; anytime I turned around totally confused, like a deer in headlights, he were right there to guide me… Simply put, we could NOT have done it without him! He choreographed our unique ceremony (which might I add we never had a rehearsal), bustled my dress, brought us drinks and mints as we mingled, guided us through EVERYTHING that we needed to do (entrance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, garter throw), guided the band/ DJ, and so much more then that!!! He was my own personal Super Hero on the best day of my life!!! The food was out of this world, as we visited tables the guests were raving about it. I made my own centerpieces and wrote instructions on the boxes, when I walked into the reception area before the wedding began; I was blown away and overwhelmed with emotion. Scott and the staff set everything up beyond expectation- perfectly; I could not have done a better job myself! I could go on and on and on AND ON about the perfection of The Woodwinds as a venue, the food, the staff, and Scott, but let me just say that I will never forget everything you did for us and I will sing your praises to anyone who will listen! The Woodwinds was awesome! From the start, they were very helpful. Whenever I had questions about anything at all, I could send them an e-mail and would receive a prompt response. Scott gave us a lot of good advice and suggestions at our final meeting, which were very helpful. On the actual wedding day, we were greeted with a plentiful amount of appetizers and drinks of our choice just for the wedding party while we were outside taking pictures. That was very nice. We got to relax for a bit in the room upstairs between the cocktail hour and the actual reception, which was also very nice. One of my favorite things that Scott did was that he made myself and my husband plates (we had a buffet) while we were making our rounds through the room, because we didn't really get a chance to hit the buffet ourselves. If he hadn't done that for us, we probably wouldn't have been able to eat! When I had an issue with my dress, he was immediately there by my side with safety pins that he pulled right out of his jacket pocket. He was keeping us on track for the whole night. He even wore a tie that matched our wedding colors! The food was also fantastic. Overall, we had a really wonderful experience at the Woodwinds. Highly Recommended! By the way, we only had our reception there, not the ceremony, so I don't have anything to say as far as the ceremony side goes- I'm sure it is just as wonderful as the reception side though! :)

The food and service was excellent. My guests loved the meals and their was plenty of items to choose from. The staff was very accomondating and you only had to ask once for something and it was taken care of. Great job.

Our wedding at Woodwinds is something we will always treasure. The grounds our beautiful for outside pictures. The staff was always around to make sure our guests were never empty handed during cocktail hour and made sure the buffet line moved smoothly so no one was waiting long. The staff was professional, pleasant and always asking if we needed anything. The appetizers and food were wonderful. When we first started planning our wedding the most important things we wanted was great food, great DJ and a great place to have a big party and we got it all at Woodwinds. If you want great food, great service and beautiful place for your occaison, Woodwinds is the place. Chris and Tom

Woodwinds did an amazing job for me on the day of my wedding! Everything was just perfect and I would highly recommend them to anyone!

During our planning process Scott and Josh were both great. They answered all of our questions from begining to end. And the venue itself is absolutely beautiful. We had a christmas wedding and the place was beautifully decorated for christmas inside and out. And the food was outstanding.

Food was incredible and Scott was excellent.

The WoodWinds was a beautiful location for our ceremony and reception, there was even another wedding going on at the same time and you couldn't even tell! Everyone was very professional!

The first day of the rest of my life began with our ceremony in a church in Madison. From there, our guests and ourselves proceeded to Woodwinds in Branford. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left (one hour later than expected), our experience was top notch. Our limo was late, but the staff at Woodwinds continued to serve us drinks and make us feel at home, despite the fact that they had another reception following ours...they never rushed us or gave us any inclination that we had to leave. Scott, the coordinator, was there from beginning to end. Not only to make our guests comfortable, but to make sure we had food, drink, and even breath mints!! He was like a choreographer of the russian ballet - infallable!! This was, by far, the best experience I could have ever imagined!! And for those of you price shopping....they were the least expensive in the general vicinity, but provided the service of a hall charging almost twice what they did. I would recommend Woodwinds - and Scott - to anyone looking to find a reception hall!!

The WoodWinds provided a beautiful ceremony site, delicious food and prompt service. Scott is an amazing coordinator, he went above and beyond the call of duty. Our guests are still raving about this place as one of the best weddings they've ever attended! I highly recommend WoodWinds and would book another event here in a heartbeat.

The food was an absolute show stopper. Three months later I am still hearing about it. I dream of the risotto. Scott was unbelievable.

Working with Woodwinds, Scott, and the rest of the staff was a pure pleasure. From day 1 when we booked the venue all of our questions where answered in a timely manner and all of our concerns melted away. The venue was set up beautifully and the ceremony and reception ran like clock-work. It was the little things that really made our day special. When the bridesmaids and I got to the bridal suite to get ready they brought us wine. When we had our ceremony they were there to direct everyone on exactly where to go. Even when we were cutting the cake Scott was there with a helping hand (and a bib to prevent my dress from getting dirty). The food was absolutely incredible and the guests can not stop raving about it. We can't thank them enough for making our day so wonderful!

The Woodwinds was wonderful, the wedding planner that my husband and I met with was Scott. I am unsure of his last name and I know that The Woodwinds now has a new owner since November 2006 so I am not certain if he is still there. Truthfully, he was the best asset to our wedding day. The day ran so smooth, he even bustled my dress!!! my mother could not find the hooks, and Scott had a flashlight in his mouth and was under my dress finding the little hooks. Everytime I turned around and my drink was even close to empty-Scott had a fresh drink in his hand for my husband and I. After my husband stuffed wedding cake up my nose, Scott had a mirror and napkin ready to go so i could touch up quickly---amazing timing. Scott played a huge part of our wedding day, and i would recommend The Woodwinds to anyone, if Scott is still there.
